As a part of the Large Scale Project Management (LSP-M) department at our HQ, you will join a diverse, international team and report directly to the Head of Department. We are looking for an open, communicative and experienced professional to support the successful delivery of future large-scale projects.
In your role as Senior Project Manager (International), you take full operational responsibility for complex construction projects, ensuring delivery in line with defined scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards. Acting as the main customer interface, you lead interdisciplinary project teams and ensure the consistent application of project management standards. In addition, you manage multiple related projects within large-scale programs and oversee the commercial strategy during the acquisition phase to achieve targeted win ratios.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading international construction projects according to the Project Agreement
- Managing scope, schedule, costs, risks, and resources
- Acting as main customer interface and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders
- Creating Project Agreements and preparing cost calculations
- Leading project teams, selecting team members, and distributing work packages
- Ensuring project transparency through structured reporting and regular plan updates
- Driving commercial performance in collaboration with the Project Owner
- Ensuring knowledge transfer and structured project close-out
- Escalating critical issues to the Project Owner or Project Steering Committee when required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry (formwork, scaffolding, engineering, or infrastructure preferred)
- Proven track record managing complex international projects
- Strong commercial understanding and experience with project cost control
- Excellent leadership, team development, and communication skills
- High intercultural competence and willingness to travel internationally
- Proficient with project management tools
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.
We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 46,290.44 according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry) on full-time basis 38.5 hours/week - use group as of IV.
