Freelance DevOps and Cloud Engineer - Long Term - Greenfield

DevOps and Cloud Engineer responsible for designing and building a new cloud-based infrastructure from the ground up. This greenfield role focuses on establishing scalable, secure, and automated environments, implementing modern DevOps practices, and enabling rapid, reliable software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud infrastructure (Azure) from scratch using modern architecture principles.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) for automated provisioning.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Define and implement cloud networking, security, and identity models.
• Establish containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define deployment standards and best practices.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of the platform.
• Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure and pipelines.
