We are looking for Project Managers/Engineers for a long-term project portfolio in Geel to take a combined role supporting process engineering and project management activities. This position focuses on providing process expertise during project execution, reviewing technical documentation, coordinating with suppliers, and following up during commissioning. You will act as the key process expert without the need to draw P&IDs yourself.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as process expert throughout the project lifecycle, from design review to commissioning.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ask conceptual and technical questions.
• Review technical documents and specifications to ensure compliance with process and equipment requirements.
• Follow up on project execution and commissioning activities, providing process guidance.
• Support the integration of process knowledge and engineering best practices into project deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, suppliers, and operations.

Candidate Profile

• Technical background in chemical or (fine) chemical engineering.
• Strong engineering skills and affinity with equipment and process design.
• Experience in project management and process equipment.
• Strong understanding of process design, but not required to produce P&IDs.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Strong analytical and communication skills, proactive, and able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
