About the internship

As a Full Stack Web Developer Intern, you will join the engineering team and report directly to the CTO.

You will work closely with two full stack developers and contribute to building and improving Aplo’s platform used by institutional clients.

This is a hands-on internship with real ownership: you will work on production features from day one, not side projects.

You will progressively get involved in the full development lifecycle:

• Understanding product needs
• Designing simple and effective solutions
• Developing features (frontend and backend)
• Testing and improving what you build
• Participating in releases

You will be supported by the team while being expected to grow quickly and take ownership of your work.

This is a demanding environment, but also a place where you can learn faster than in most internships.

• Build and ship features across the stack (frontend and backend)

• Contribute to backend logic and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable and production-ready code
• Test, debug and improve your work
• Improve performance and reliability of the platform

• JavaScript / TypeScript across the stack
• A modern frontend architecture (React)

• Testing tools and workflows ensuring code quality and stability

You will also be exposed to production systems, high engineering standards and security best practices in a demanding environment.

Profile

• Final-year student (Master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science or related field
• End-of-studies internship only

Skills

• Good understanding of web development basics
• Comfortable with JavaScript or TypeScript
• First experience with a frontend framework (such as React)
• Basic understanding of APIs and databases
• Interest in writing clean and structured code

Nice to have

• Interest in crypto or financial systems
• Awareness of performance and security topics

• €26,500 annualized internship stipend (paid monthly)
