Business Sweden is looking for Group Engineering Manager to lead engineering coordination across European operations of Eurostair, based at the company’s office in Rheine, Germany.
Business Sweden is supporting Eurostair, a leading Swedish provider of spiral staircases, modular ramps and steel structural systems used across European markets, in strengthening its engineering organization and technical capabilities across the group.
As Group Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Group Management Team, coordinating engineering activities across the group and ensuring high-quality structural products for European markets.
Role Overview
In this role you will lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering work across product design, structural analysis, manufacturing and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading engineering strategy and design optimization for structural products
- Managing teams including structural engineers, CAD technicians and analysts
- Ensuring compliance with Eurocodes, EN standards and national regulations
- Collaborating with project teams in the group (production, sales, procurement)
- Driving improvements in design processes, standardization and cost optimization
The position involves regular travel to group locations in Sweden and Poland.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
- 10+ years of experience in structural or construction engineering
- Experience in engineering leadership roles
- Background from international production environments
- Knowledge of FEM analysis, welding and steel structures
- Degree in Construction or Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- German and business-level English
