About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative App Developer specializing in Android and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing the development of our flagship TK app, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technology and user experience. You will work within agile, interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and optimize user-centric mobile applications that serve millions of customers. Your expertise will contribute to creating scalable, reusable software components based on KMP, facilitating cross-platform development and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification complemented by extensive practical experience in mobile app development. Proven expertise in developing modern, native Android applications using Jetpack Compose and MVVM architecture is essential. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development, including designing and implementing reusable components, is highly desirable. A thorough understanding of Android architecture guidelines and complex interface protocols such as OpenID Connect, OpenAPI, FHIR, and matrix.org is required. Candidates should have a solid background in automated testing frameworks like JUnit, Robolectric, and Espresso. Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for tackling complex challenges, and a collaborative mindset are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the TK mobile app utilizing modern Android technologies to deliver a superior user experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, UI/UX designers, and IT specialists—to conceptualize and develop innovative, user-focused applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain abstract and reusable software components based on Kotlin Multiplatform, promoting efficiency and consistency across platforms.
- Implement and sustain tools and components that support KMP application development, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Write, execute, and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability and security.
- Actively participate in community forums, contribute to knowledge sharing, and help shape the future development of the platform through cross-disciplinary collaboration.
