The Role

Mason Technology is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the HR manager and employees. You will work across the full employee lifecycle, supporting HR operations, employee relations, administration, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, HR compliance and HR process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the hiring managers in preparing job descriptions & specifications, advertising open roles, screening candidates, and setting up interviews for potential candidates.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, probation, performance reviews, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive introduction to the organisation – assign and track the online Induction program, schedule meetings, and support in creating the onboarding plan.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across the HR systems.
  • Serve as the initial contact for general inquiries and respond to HR queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare employment letters, contract amendments, and other HR documentation as required.
  • Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, engagement initiatives, and process improvements
  • Support the development and implementation of HR metrics and reporting
  • Support probation tracking, contract renewals, and compliance related documentation.
  • Support the HR Manager with ER case preparation including note taking, drafting letters and scheduling meetings.
  • Support the HR Manager with long-term absence cases, including occupational health assessments, return to work arrangements and line manager support.
  • Maintain and verify SuccessFactors data including job titles, cost centres, reporting lines, and organisational changes.
  • Maintain awareness of employment law changes in the Republic of Ireland (and UK where relevant).
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with internal policies, GDPR, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit requests and documentation reviews as needed.
  • Support the annual compensation and promotions process.

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a HR Generalist or 5 years’ experience in a HR Administrator role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) or relevant HR/business degree
  • Experience supporting managers across multiple HR disciplines
  • Strong understanding of ROI employment law; exposure to UK employment law is an advantage
  • Experience using SuccessFactors or another HRIS
  • Experience using a LMS is desirable
  • Experience supporting employee relations cases (note taking, drafting letters, scheduling, documentation)
