About Ustyle

Ustyle is an early-stage SaaS startup building AI-powered fashion recommendation technology for e-commerce. Our platform leverages generative AI , including text-to-text, text-to-image, image-to-image, and image-to-video models , to help online fashion retailers deliver personalized shopping experiences at scale.

Our infrastructure spans Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Microsoft Azure.

The Role

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work side by side with the founding team on real features that ship to real customers. This is not a simulated project , you will contribute directly to a product that online stores depend on every day. You will touch everything from frontend UI components to backend API integrations and cloud infrastructure.

What You Will Do

• Build and improve frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar)
• Develop and maintain backend services, REST or GraphQL APIs, and serverless functions on GCP Cloud Run
• Work with Shopify and WooCommerce platform APIs, webhooks, and app integration flows
• Integrate and experiment with generative AI models (Gemini, GPT, Imagen, Sora, Veo) for production features
• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate coding and problem-solving
• Participate in product discussions, customer feedback reviews, and go-to-market strategy conversations
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following startup-pace best practices

Must-Have Skills

• Currently enrolled in a university program (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field) eligible for a curricular internship
• Based in or able to commute to Torino, Italy , this is a mostly in-person role with mandatory office attendance
• Solid fundamentals in at least one frontend framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or similar) and one backend language (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Comfortable working with Git, the command line, and modern development workflows
• Curious, self-driven, and eager to learn , comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with the team in our Torino office

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML: prompt engineering, working with LLM APIs
• Familiarity with Shopify app development, Liquid templating, WooCommerce plugin architecture, or e-commerce platforms in general
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and containerized deployments (Docker, Cloud Run)
• Proficiency in using AI-powered coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) as part of your daily workflow
• Italian language skills
• An eye for design, UX, or fashion tech , you care about how things look and feel, not just how they work
