- Define conceptual architectures and decompose product options aligned with IT strategy.
- Ensure interoperability across domains and design standardized, reusable functional services.
- Evaluate solution options, balancing value, complexity, and feasibility.
- Collaborate with UX designers for user-centric design.
- Work with business process teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
- Align expectations across Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and business sponsors.
- Act as a bridge between Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Project Teams, and Business representatives.
- Support project initiation and documentation activities, including preparation of specifications, HLR documents, and input for RFPs or vendor assessments when applicable.
- Facilitate Application Portfolio Management and monitor project execution for architectural alignment.
- Follow implementation phases, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions to maintain architectural integrity.
- Collaborate with Data Services to define data flows supporting functional needs.
- Manage contracts, licenses, and budgets related to functional architecture tools.
- Mentor Functional Analysts and promote architectural thinking across teams.
- Collaborate with peer architects and analysts to ensure coherence and shared understanding.
