Job Description: Senior AI Data Scientist
Locations: The Netherlands
Engagement Type: Long-term / Permanent
Domain focus: Healthcare, Industrial AI, and Generative AI Agents
Role Objective
- versatile, high-caliber AI professionals to join a long-term strategic engagement. You will be responsible for transforming complex data from various business divisions into production-ready AI solutions. This role requires a blend of deep mathematical research and modern ML Ops practices.
Key Specializations (Looking for expertise in one or more)
Track A: Generative AI & Agentic Systems
- Designing and scaling GenAI solutions from research to production.
- Implementing Vision Language Models (VLM) and Computer Use Agents (CUA) for autonomous navigation and monitoring.
- Optimizing agentic workflows (e.g., Text-to-SQL) and scaling test-time inference.
Track B: Medical Imaging & Signal Intelligence
- Applying AI/ML to high-dimensional healthcare data (Ultrasound, Doppler, HPLC-LIF).
- Developing algorithms for image segmentation, classification, and clinical decision support.
- Translating spectral and biomedical signals into diagnostic insights.
Track C: Predictive Analytics & ML Ops
- Building predictive maintenance models for machine component failure using log file analysis.
- Establishing robust ML Ops pipelines for LLM deployment and monitoring.
- Exploratory statistical modeling for trend identification and business case analysis.
Technical Requirements
- Education: PhD or master's in computer science, AI, NLP, Biomedical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Core AI: Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Transformers.
- Programming: Mastery of Python and standard AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Mathematics: Strong foundation in statistical modeling, spectral analysis, and exploratory mathematics.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to present complex technical proposals and results to non-technical collaborators and customers.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the healthcare domain (oncology, patient monitoring, or medical imaging).
- Prior experience in leading project activities, including hiring and business case evaluation.
- Knowledge of zero-shot learning and multi-modal ingestion.
