At Logistic Services Operations, we build and run the systems that enable thousands of employees to deliver millions of letters and parcels on time—every single day. We are currently transforming our personnel planning landscape by replacing legacy tools with modern, in-house developed solutions, while continuing to evolve existing systems to ensure seamless operations.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a key role in this journey—working in a DevOps-driven, interdisciplinary team to design, build, and operate scalable, high-impact products for our internal users.

What you can do

− Take end-to-end ownership of features across the full software lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and operation

− Build and maintain modern fullstack applications (frontend + backend)

− Contribute to a DevOps culture, including CI/CD, automated testing, and observability

− Design and implement scalable, resilient architectures using cloud-native principles

− Work with modern deployment strategies such as Blue/Green, Canary, and A/B testing

− Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

− Continuously improve systems that are critical to daily logistics operations

− Share knowledge, mentor others, and actively learn from your peers

− Explore and apply AI-driven development approaches, contributing to a forward-thinking engineering culture

What you bring:

− At least 5–10 years of relevant experience

− Strong experience as a Fullstack Developer, with passion for both frontend and backend development

− Solid hands-on experience with: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, Relational and NoSQL databases, Distributed systems (e.g., caching, messaging with Kafka), Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

− Proven experience working with AWS in production environments, including: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, GitOps, ArgoCD, Obserability tools (OpenTelemetry, AWS X-Ray, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)

− Strong understanding of: CI/CD pipelines and automation, Monitoring, logging, and system reliability

− A mindset focused on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

− Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, especially AI in software development

Education

− University/technical college degree in computer science or comparable.

Language Skills

− English oral and written

− Optional: German oral (and written)
