Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a long-term remote engagement with a globally recognised IT and business consulting services provider. This organisation delivers end-to-end digital transformation solutions across public and private sectors, with a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable technology delivery.
This is a fully remote role based in Sweden, requiring fluency in Swedish and the ability to work effectively within distributed, cross-functional teams.
Contract Details
- Location: Remote (Sweden-based)
- Language: Swedish (essential)
- Contract Length: 12 months initial + extensions
- Engagement Type: Contract with option to transition to permanent
- Rate: Negotiable hourly rate
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, and DevOps engineers
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
- Perform code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Python development
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Knowledge of containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to data engineering or machine learning projects
- Experience with modern front-end technologies is a plus
