We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a Product Manager in our Stockholm office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
The Role
We are now looking for a Product Manager to join our Retention Product Area, driving initiatives that strengthen customer engagement, reduce churn, and grow long-term customer value. In this role, you will operate across internal forums and functions, connecting strategy to execution and turning complexity into clarity.
You will work closely with your dedicated cross-functional development team, consisting of engineers, a designer and an engineering manager. You will also collaborate with other product managers and their teams, building on each other’s ideas & solutions. Alongside this, you will have strong support from user researchers and product analysts to ensure we build the right solutions, measure real impact, and continuously enhance the Viaplay product in ways that delight our customers. Your role will often be to drive projects forward – ensuring relevant perspectives of product, technology, data and commercial requirements.
What You'll Do
- Implement product improvements aligned with retention goals, stakeholder needs and company objectives
- Own and prioritize your team's roadmap based on customer value and business impact
- Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery and ideation to launch, validation and continuous improvement within your product mission
- Collaborate and participate in daily sessions with your development team to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Both initiate and drive your own product initiatives, as well as lead and deliver on projects defined with stakeholders
- Use qualitative insights, quantitative data and experimentation to guide internal decisions and measure impact
- Work closely with product, data, tech and business stakeholders to evolve solutions
- Continuously align teams and stakeholders around clear priorities and shared goals
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Project Manager in digital products
- Strong experience in modern agile product discovery and impact driven delivery
- Comfortable working in data-informed environments and driving experimentation
- Experienced in working with algorithmic, automated and/or AI-enabled products
- Confident communicator who can align diverse stakeholders and navigate complex organisations
- Structured, outcome-driven and motivated by measurable impact
- High understanding and curiosity of agile development work processes
- Experience from subscription-based or consumer digital services
- Experience driving initiatives tied to engagement, retention or revenue growth
- Strong experimentation mindset and hypothesis-driven approach
- Experience working in international and multi-market organizations
- We’ve got you covered! 30 days of paid vacation every year, an attractive pension and insurance scheme, and generous parental leave pay lift.
- Your wellbeing matters. We provide you with various wellbeing initiatives including wellness allowance.
- Flexibility that works. We follow a hybrid model with at least three days a week in the office, giving you the best mix of collaboration and focus time.
- A safe space to grow and up-skill. Our learning culture puts you in the driver’s seat of your own development.
- An innovative environment with Hack Days once a year. This week-long initiative allows you to think outside the box and deliver creative, technical solutions that (more often than not) go on to be implemented, either in our product or our ways of working.
- Entertainment is what we love, and entertainment is what we do. So, unlimited access to Viaplay seems only fair for you to get to know the product – including serier & viewing events, new release movie rentals, linear channels and more.
If this feels like your kind of challenge, make sure you apply by attaching your CV here – you may also want to add your LinkedIn profile. Please don’t send us your application via email because we won’t be able to accept it. We do, however, welcome any questions you may have about this particular position.
