Senior SD-WAN Network Engineer (Versa):

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Senior SD-WAN Network Engineer (Versa) for a long contract based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and enhance a large-scale Versa SD-WAN environment (700+ global sites).
• Design and optimize network solutions using IPSEC, VXLAN, MPLS, MP-BGP, BGP, OSPF, QoS, and TCP/IP.
• Monitor network health using advanced diagnostic and analytics tools.
• Architect and implement scalable and cost-efficient SD-WAN solutions.
• Lead critical incident troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvements in network design, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
• Maintain detailed documentation (architecture, configs, SOPs, troubleshooting guides).

Required Skills

• 7+ years in enterprise networking, with 3–5 years in SD-WAN (Versa preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Versa SD-WAN architecture and operations
• Large-scale network environments
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP
• Tunneling: IPSEC, VXLAN
• MPLS and QoS
• Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Splunk, PRTG, etc.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Versa SD-WAN certifications (VOS exams)
• Automation experience (Python, Ansible, APIs)
• Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
