Syntonym is a London based deep tech startup working on Generative Al for Privacy.
We’re a fast-moving startup building real-time AI and computer vision systems, and we’re looking for a hands-on ML / CV Engineer who loves turning ideas into working products.
What You’ll Work On
Build real-time computer vision pipelines using OpenCV
Develop and deploy ML / Deep Learning models for production
Optimize systems for speed, latency, and performance
Work with TensorFlow & PyTorch
Experince with Linux/UNIX systems
Use MediaPipe for vision and tracking tasks
Write high-quality code in Python (C++ is a strong plus)
- Experiment with and apply Generative AI where it makes sense
- Take ownership of features end-to-end
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of experience in Computer Vision / Machine Learning
Strong fundamentals in ML & Deep Learning
Hands-on experience with OpenCV
Comfortable working on real-time systems
- Experience with TensorFlow / PyTorch
- Self-driven, problem-solver mindset
- Startup attitude: move fast, learn fast
Bonus Points
- Generative AI experience (diffusion, transformers, LLMs)
- Model optimization or deployment experience
- Experience with live video or camera systems
- C++ performance tuning
