Business Analyst (SQL-Focused)
π Location: hybrid Warsaw office or Prague office (1 day a week during the 8-month contract portion. Once they convert to a Mary Kay full-time employee, they will need to be on-site 2 days a week)
π Working hours: Flexible (primary stakeholders in Europe, occasional collaboration with Dallas team)

About the Role
Role Overview: Business Analyst (Technical / Systems-Focused)
They are looking for a true Business Analyst who sits between business users and IT, with a strong systems and technical orientation. This is not a product, project, or KPI-driven role.
This person will support internal applications/products, translating business needs into clear technical requirements and documentation for developers.
What This Candidate Will Do
- Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand system enhancement requests
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
- Support internal applications or platforms (not customer-facing product ownership)
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system changes and configurations
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis (but not project management)
- Perform UAT and QA testing and support release validation
- Conduct technical evaluations and provide ongoing application support
- Understand business processes and how they integrate with existing systems
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Hands-on UAT and QA testing experience (non-negotiable)
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis
- Experience supporting large enterprise applications or multiple internal systems
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements
- Strong technical aptitude (configurations, system behavior, troubleshooting)
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
