The Billing Analytics & Reconciliation Specialist (Group Level) is responsible for ensuring accurate, complete, and timely billing and revenue reporting across all hospitals within the group. The role focuses on preventing revenue leakage by validating charge capture, conducting group‑wide reconciliations, analysing financial and operational data, and supporting timely collection of outstanding balances. It also involves preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for senior management.
This position plays a key role in strengthening revenue integrity through audits, compliance monitoring, and continuous process improvement. The specialist collaborates closely with Billing, RCM, Finance, Legal, Clinical, and IT teams to enhance documentation accuracy, streamline workflows, and improve overall revenue cycle performance.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years in hospital billing, reconciliation, MIS, revenue integrity, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
Training, Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) for dashboards and analytics.
- Working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) including Cerner and Oracle.
- Strong understanding of hospital billing workflows and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes.
- Knowledge of charge capture for procedures, laboratory services, diagnostics, and consumables.
- Ability to perform financial reconciliation, identify billing discrepancies, and detect revenue leakage.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical coding concepts.
- Awareness of KCH policies and initiatives.
- Ability to support and guide junior team members when required.
- Strong confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- High level of self‑motivation, with strong personal work standards and goal‑setting capabilities.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities in dynamic environments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment in escalating issues.
- Maintains professional credibility and demonstrates reliability across all staff groups.
- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced work environment.
