Our client is looking for a Senior Android Developer to lead architecture, design, and development across complex, multi‑platform applications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, shaping engineering standards, and working hands‑on across the full software development lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical design, architectural decisions, and development for cross‑functional Android application systems.
- Work closely with a collaborative mobile team throughout all phases of the SDLC.
- Strengthen engineering practices by contributing to agile teams responsible for end‑to‑end development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and share insights on how they can influence or elevate mobile development.
- Mentor developers at all levels—junior, intermediate, and senior—helping them grow technically and professionally.
What You Bring
Required:
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience building native Android apps with Java/Kotlin.
- 6+ years of experience in application or data architecture, design, and development.
- Strong experience with tools and frameworks including:
- RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit, Jenkins
- Proven ability to mentor developers and collaborate with both technical and business partners.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Preferred:

- 8+ years leading full software development lifecycle initiatives.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies.
- Background working within agile environments.
