Our client is looking for a Senior Android Developer to lead architecture, design, and development across complex, multi‑platform applications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, shaping engineering standards, and working hands‑on across the full software development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical design, architectural decisions, and development for cross‑functional Android application systems.
• Work closely with a collaborative mobile team throughout all phases of the SDLC.
• Strengthen engineering practices by contributing to agile teams responsible for end‑to‑end development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Stay current with evolving technologies and share insights on how they can influence or elevate mobile development.
• Mentor developers at all levels—junior, intermediate, and senior—helping them grow technically and professionally.

What You Bring

Required:

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience building native Android apps with Java/Kotlin.
• 6+ years of experience in application or data architecture, design, and development.
• Strong experience with tools and frameworks including:
• RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit, Jenkins
• Proven ability to mentor developers and collaborate with both technical and business partners.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Preferred:

• 8+ years leading full software development lifecycle initiatives.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies.
• Background working within agile environments.
