Responsibilities
The mission of the Marketplace Intelligence & Data team is to build sustainable and efficient data and intelligent products to drive Shopee’s business growth. The team’s responsibilities include:

Responsibilities
The mission of the Marketplace Intelligence & Data team is to build sustainable and efficient data and intelligent products to drive Shopee’s business growth. The team’s responsibilities include:
- E-commerce data warehouse development
- Merchant and operations data product development
- End-to-end traffic data system
- Product-related algorithms (product listing, control, information optimization, SPU library and price comparison business)
- Marketing algorithms (merchant recruitment, product selection, recommendation algorithms)
- Review algorithms and user profiling
- Core AI capabilities (machine translation, speech algorithms, image algorithms, real-person authentication, etc.)
- Participate in the development and optimization of Shopee’s large-scale e-commerce user profiling system
- Develop and optimize data systems for business scenarios involving hundreds of billions of data records
- Design and develop core high-concurrency systems in the e-commerce chain
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field
- Proficient in at least one of Java or Golang, with solid programming skills and good coding practices
- Familiar with common software engineering practices, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiar with the principles and usage of HBase, ClickHouse, Kafka, Redis, with expertise in one or more preferred
- Knowledge of Linux systems, networking, distributed architecture, caching, and message queues
- Strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness, good communication skills, and team spirit
