How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice
The Creative team serves as the visual catalyst for Paula’s Choice, shaping how millions of customers discover, engage with, and shop our brand across our direct-to-consumer ecosystem. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in driving growth across our DTC channels by creating high-performing creative that supports acquisition, conversion, and retention.
You’ll help bring the Paula’s Choice brand to life across our owned digital experiences - from ecommerce and lifecycle marketing to paid media. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with ecommerce, growth, and brand teams to design compelling, conversion-focused creative that enhances the online customer journey and strengthens our direct relationship with consumers.
This role blends creative ideation with performance-driven execution. You’ll leverage strong design skills, digital expertise, and an understanding of the ecommerce funnel to deliver creative that both elevates the brand and drives measurable results.
As a Graphic Designer, a typical day might include a mix of the following:
- Designing high-performing digital assets that support DTC growth initiatives across the full ecommerce funnel, including acquisition, conversion, and retention.
- Collaborating closely with Brand, Marketing, and DTC teams to strategize, refine, and optimize both new and existing collateral.
- Driving the creative process from concept through execution while ensuring assets align with brand guidelines and the broader DTC strategy.
- Collaborating with the creative team to maintain brand consistency while adapting creative to meet the needs of different customer touchpoints and channels.
- Identifying opportunities to improve creative production workflows, scale asset creation, and increase team efficiency.
- Providing creative support to team members across campaigns, launches, and ongoing marketing initiatives.
- Staying up to date on digital design trends, ecommerce best practices, and emerging tools that help elevate performance-driven creative.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
- Location: We are based in Seattle, WA. While we prefer local candidates, we are flexible on location
- Hours: Typical PST business hours, some flexibility required
- Physical requirements: Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time
- Travel requirements: Minimal travel may be required for team meetings or events
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in a fast-paced DTC, ecommerce, or digitally native brand environment
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital marketing, ecommerce, and performance-driven creative
- Professional experience with graphic animation and incorporating video into assets
- Proven ability to develop creative across multichannel digital campaigns
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, emerging creative technologies, or 3D design software
- Strong understanding of how creative supports ecommerce performance, including conversion, engagement, and retention
- Ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong production skills with an ability to take direction and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand project goals and clearly articulate design concepts
- Experience working at a DTC brand or ecommerce-first company
- Working knowledge of UX/UI design and responsive web design
- Experience in the cosmetics or skincare industry
$75,000 - $85,000 USD/annually
Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
