As the Manager of Security, you will work closely with the Club Director and Vice President of Security in a variety of security related functions. This role contributes to the highest level of safety and protection of all Raiders assets and provides overall site security for all Raiders owned property, and personnel of the Las Vegas Raiders Football Club.

Essential Job Functions

Provide Daily Site Security By:

    • Conduct in season team movement preparation area threat assessments and operational security plans
    • Conduct Security advances inclusive of ingress and egress routes, emergency evacuation procedures and familiarization with hotel, stadium, team walk-thru sites venues for efficient, coach, staff and VIP movements
    • Away Games – Staff, schedule, train and manage six (6) third party security agents
    • Home Games – Staff, schedule, train and manage sixteen (16) third party security agents
    • Conduct Security Advances for all team travel and special events
    • Assist the VP of Security in providing investigative assistance for Cyber Threats/Scams perpetrated by bad actors.
    • Assist the VP of Security in keeping all Raiders personnel informed of any internal and external security threats
    • Assist the VP of Security in executing, managing and triage all investigative due diligence/risk assessment analysis conducted by a third-party vendor, as necessary on all player draft candidates and free agency.
    • Provide security presentations in conjunction with and in coordination with NFL Security
    • Provide Coaches, players, and families with DMV and passport administrative assistance as needed
    • Assist Player Engagement personnel with the Rookie Transition Program
    • Ensure security practices are executed in accordance with standard operating procedures
    • Provide vision and leadership for the security department
    • Perform other duties as assigned with Facilities and Stadium Security staff as directed by the VP of Security
    • Promote a culture that embraces Raider values and work with staff to create and maintain an environment reflective of those values
Qualifications

  • Must have proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field, law enforcement or military. Retired law enforcement applicants accepted.
  • You must have a minimum of ten years of experience in corporate security.
  • Familiarity with surveillance technology, including CCTV systems.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of ten years of experience and a valid HR218 concealed carry permit (or eligible to obtain one meeting all legal requirements) under Law Enforcement Officer’s Safety Act (LEOSA certified).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personnel.
  • Ability to work flexible hours (e.g., early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Ability and willingness to travel by vehicle, bus, and aircraft on official Las Vegas Raiders business and to other NFL related destinations.
  • Proficiency in the use of a PC, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as other security-specific operating systems.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Work experience in a special operations group, i.e., tactical/emergency response team, dignitary protection or training instructor – preferred.

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

  • Sitting for extended periods of time throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, climbing, and pulling.
