Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of new systems, software, and business process changes across the Pacific region. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to agreed quality standards. You will also play a critical role in driving change adoption, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

What will you be doing?


Project delivery & governance

  • Develop and manage project scope, plans, resource models, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate delivery activities across business, IT, and vendor teams
  • Monitor milestones, manage dependencies, and escalate risks and issues as required (RAID)
  • Produce regular status updates, reporting, and communications for senior stakeholders
  • Ensure project outcomes meet agreed quality standards, including planning and execution of testing activities


Project Delivery Support

  • Support project managers and delivery teams across all project phases
  • Assist with scope definition, feasibility assessments, and project planning
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
  • Support testing activities, including UAT coordination and defect triage


Stakeholder & vendor management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Build strong working relationships across the region and globally
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, including remote delivery resources


Change management & adoption

  • Lead change management activities, including communications, training, and transition to business-as-usual
  • Drive user adoption to ensure project benefits are realised


Risk, compliance & continuous improvement

  • Ensure adherence to Lockton policies, procedures, and risk frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory, and ethical requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery practices, processes, and methodologies


You will need the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in project management or delivery roles with end-to-end accountability
  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Experience within insurance broking or financial services environments
  • Knowledge of broking systems and insurance technologies
  • Familiarity with software delivery, IT operations, and data management practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects independently
  • Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Monday.com)
