Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to a growing userbase in Vienna, as well as remote users across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, updating, and maintenance of software and hardware, including printers, video conferencing devices, servers, and network hardware at local and remote locations.
• Provision equipment and domain accounts for new employees, ensuring seamless onboarding.
• Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of networking hardware such as switches, wireless access points and other network equipment.
• Provide basic assistance in managing network services, to ensure stable and secure network operations.
• Assist in managing user identities, groups, and access policies through Microsoft Entra ID.
• Maintain and update network topology diagrams, documenting network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Maintain best-in-class safety standards.
• Work with colleagues to identify and drive projects to optimise, standardise, align, and automate business processes across the organisation.
• Active research and monitoring of current and upcoming AI trends
• Preparation of qualitative assessments of AI tools
• Support for the deployment of AI initiatives

Qualifications

• Familiarity with operating systems, especially Windows and iOS, and common software applications.
• A keen interest in networking and IT infrastructure.
• Fundamental understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, subnets, routing, switching, masks, wireless access points.
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts, such as firewalls, encryption, and VPNs.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experienced user of the Microsoft productivity suite (OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Customer support oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good English language skills.

Statutory notice: In accordance with the Austrian collective agreement for employees in IT, the minimum gross monthly salary for this full-time position (40 hours/week) is € 2.136,19. Please note that this is a legal requirement to state, but your actual compensation will be based on your qualifications and professional experience, and we would be happy to discuss it with you personally.
