The role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain complex desktop applications built with .NET, C#, WPF and SQL.
You will play a key role in architecture decisions, technical analysis and long-term customer projects.
You will work in cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to building robust, scalable and maintainable software used by professional users worldwide.

The role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain complex desktop applications built with .NET, C#, WPF and SQL.
You will play a key role in architecture decisions, technical analysis and long-term customer projects.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain .NET desktop applications (C#, WPF, SQL)
- Participate in software architecture and technical design decisions
- Ensure clean, maintainable and scalable code
- Work in Agile / Scrum teams on long-term customer projects
- Perform technical analysis and translate requirements into solutions
- Contribute to internal best practices and code quality standards
- Collaborate with product, QA and support teams
- Provide technical guidance and support when needed
- Maintain clear technical documentation
- Strong experience with C# / .NET development
- Solid knowledge of WPF and desktop application development
- Good experience with SQL databases
- Experience with software architecture and clean code principles
- Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- Able to take ownership of complex technical topics
- Fluent English required
- Experience with mobile applications
- Experience with 3D, geometry or engineering software
- Knowledge of performance optimization
- Dutch language is a plus
- Permanent contract
- Location: Ghent, Belgium
- Hybrid work (2–3 days remote after 6 months)
- No remote during first months (training phase)
- Salary €45,000 – €55,000
