Requirements:

5+ years as a UX Consultant, UX Researcher, or Digital Communicator
Expertise in responsive design for web applications and high-fidelity prototyping using tools such as Figma or Invision
Strong command of user research methodologies, including usability audits, heuristic evaluations, and field studies
Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2) and tools like NVDA or WAVE
Technical proficiency in web standards (HTML, CSS, XML), SEO, and version control using GIT
Familiarity with Agile development principles and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Knowledge of Drupal (10x, 11x), Europa Component Library (ECL), and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue) is highly advantageous
Experience with the Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps programmes is a significant asset
Soft skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to coach/mentor teams while building trusted business relationships
Languages: English (fluent)

Job Description:

Facilitate participatory design, design sprints, and conversational design sessions to align with organisational goals
Lead quantitative and qualitative research, including user requirements gathering, task flows, and synthesis of web analytics
Design and execute usability studies, surveys, and field studies to inform data-driven decisions
Develop UX writing and communicate strategic visions from an end-user perspective
Bridge the gap between business units and development teams to ensure technical implementation meets user requirements
Provide service design expertise and transfer UX knowledge across the organisation through coaching and mentoring
Participate in technical working groups and progress meetings to report on UX findings and implementation status
