About Us:
We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young individuals by providing comprehensive support to help them access education, employment, and training opportunities. As a key player in our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the pathways to success for the youth in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be the friendly face that young people turn to when seeking guidance. Manage a caseload of young individuals not currently engaged in education, employment, or training, and provide them with tailored support.
Empower through Guidance: Utilise your expertise to offer education, employment, and training advice. Collaborate within a career coaching framework to provide guidance that sets young individuals on a path of success.
Tracking and Outreach: Stay connected with participants through calls, texts, and visits, ensuring statutory requirements are met. Record essential details in compliance with DfE standards.
Rapid Support: Provide timely Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) sessions within 48 hours of referrals. Facilitate sessions in diverse locations, guiding individuals on exam results, career exploration, job searches, and more.
Support during key Transitions: Assist schools, alternative learning providers, and home-educated students in transitioning successfully into year 12, paving the way for a smooth educational journey.
Networking and Collaboration: Build and maintain an extensive network of contacts and stakeholders. Collaborate with post-16 providers and local businesses to foster career development opportunities. Champion cross-referrals to enhance support services.
Exceptional Service: Uphold exceptional customer service standards in all interactions, be it face-to-face or over the phone. Maintain professionalism while engaging with participants, referral agencies, and employers.
