As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Digital team as an Instore Product Manager.
What you`ll be doing:
You are Insights Driven:
- You are uncompromisingly customer focused and use customer insight to deeply understand the problems our customers and retailers face.
- You use these insights to define priorities and create a clear brief. You analyse data to inform decision making and uncover new product opportunities across instore digital experiences.
- You understand the competitive landscape and emerging trends in retail technology, using this knowledge to identify sustainable competitive advantages.
- This insights driven approach allows you to represent customer, and retailer needs accurately, prioritise effectively and develop clear roadmaps that create the best possible value for Musgrave brands and improve the digital experience in our stores.
- You always start with the problem. You focus on understanding, refining and clearly articulating the problem or opportunity your team is solving, ensuring the wider team is aligned around it.
- You deliver the full customer experience by working cross-functionally with teams such as UX, marketing, sales, store operations and customer service. This ensures our instore digital products and technologies are successfully launched and adopted by retailers and customers.
- You ship to learn. You identify key assumptions and risks, build hypotheses and use data and feedback to continuously improve the product.
- You know that outcomes matter most. You drive a consistent shipping cadence and take accountability for the customer and business impact of your work.
- Shipping is your heartbeat. You drive a consistent shipping cadence. But it’s not just the speed at which you ship, it’s also the quality of the product and the impact it has on both customer experience and store operations. You hold yourself accountable to the customer and business impact of your work.
- You help define product strategy and influence others to think big about where we are going and how we get there.
- You are responsible for roadmap creation, taking a wide range of inputs to prioritise the most important opportunities. This includes the development of instore digital capabilities that enhance the physical shopping experience and support retailers in delivering great service.
- You clearly articulate priorities and ensure that strategy and roadmaps are understood across teams and stakeholders. You champion strong product management practices across the organisation.
- You inspire others to work towards a clear vision for instore digital.
- You communicate clearly and confidently, building collaborative and high-performing teams. You take ownership of the instore digital product area and consistently look for ways to deliver value.
- You are decisive and able to create clarity in ambiguous situations. You stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in digital retail and instore technology, ensuring we continue to innovate within our industry.
- A third level qualification in IT, Product Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering digital products (mobile, web or in-store technologies), ideally within a retail or digital commerce environment

- Experience managing external agencies and internal teams and are passionate about customer experience and making life simpler with technology.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver at pace, while maintaining a strong customer focus
- Excellent communication skills, facilitating the building of strong cross functional relationships including with our retail partners, and using the available expertise and experience to good effect.
