We are a London-based fintech company with a mindful approach to financial services. Operating under a FCA-approved Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license, MADFIN delivers card acquiring tailored for fast-moving, high-growth businesses. We are looking for Product Owner to join our rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities:

- Lead Open Banking via providers, with a path toward an in-house licensed setup
- Own and expand the APM portfolio (onboarding, performance, optimization)
- Own account opening capabilities based on Canopus, including product improvements
- Oversee card issuing via a partner (ongoing, limited scope)
- Own delivery end-to-end: analyze APIs and payment flows, define requirements, and drive production launches
- Work with vendors and partners: align solutions, drive integrations, and ensure delivery
- Analyze payments and optimize key metrics: conversion, declines, routing
- Handle operational product work: client cases, payment issues, and process improvements
- 4+ years in fintech / payments / banking
- Strong understanding of Visa / Mastercard / acquiring / 3DS / processing
- Experience with Open Banking, APMs, card issuing, or account infrastructure
- Ability to analyze payment flows, APIs, and integrations
- Experience working with vendors and external integrations
- Hands-on experience with APIs (Postman) and SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Ability to combine product ownership with hands-on delivery
