Quento Technologies seeks a highly motivated and experienced Programming/ Software Development & Data Engineering Senior.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development, maintenance and optimization of SAC dashboards within the Data Governance Tooling Ecosystem, including enhancement of visual components, curation of data models and underlying technical components required to ensure reliable data quality, reporting, and governance processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of data governance tooling using Power BI, including technical enhancements, integrations with upstream data sources, and participation in testing activities for new or upgraded functionalities supporting the transition to the target ecosystem;
• Assist in strengthening the Group's data governance capabilities, by improving automation, ensuring technical robustness and reliability of data and information dashboards, and supporting the transition from SAC-based solutions to the Power BI-centric reporting ecosystem aligned with ongoing projects;
• Analysis, gathering and clarification of requirements from data and information governance division;
• Impact analysis on existing applications (data glossary, data quality engine and ticketing system) for dashboards in SAC and target solution in Power BI;
• Preparation of technical requirements and documentation;
• Preparation of development environments for user testing;
• Collaboration and testing with Datawarehouse;
• Update/build of physical Data Model in SAC and Power BI;
• Non regression testing across SAC dashboards and corresponding Power BI deliverables against data sources;
• Gathering of user test feedback and performing iterative improvements;
• Packaging of the implemented solution prior to deployment;
• Documenting required projects standards, guidelines, and technical specifications;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties comply fully with regulatory requirements, including the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
  
  

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline;
• 5 years of experience with SAP Analytics Cloud;
• 3 years of experience with analysis, testing and producing written design specification and documentation;
• Basic knowledge of SAP Sybase Power Designer;
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI;
• Understanding of data governance fundamentals, including metadata concepts, metadata structures, information assets, business rules and data lineage;
• Basic knowledge of the BCBS239 principles and framework, and related regulatory governance requirements;
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, preparation of user stories, functional testing and iterative delivery cycles;
• Experience with Azure DevOps;
• Experience working in a banking or financial services environment, preferably within an international and multicultural context;
• Analyzing existing developments and performing impact analysis;
• Implementing a consistent solution in line with data modelling best practices;
• Performing tests, gathering feedback, and recommending changes;
• Gathering requirements and delivering results within strict schedules;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
