Data Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Data Consultant, to support the Data & Analytics team within ITS Process Management & Innovation. The external consultant operates independently and provides specialised expertise in analysing, designing, and optimising data processes, ensuring alignment with business intelligence initiatives and organisational objectives.

Scope of Work

• Provide senior-level data strategy and process expertise to support the Data & Analytics team (non‑hierarchical, advisory only).
• Conduct independent AS‑IS mapping of data flows, pipelines, and reporting processes across relevant business units and markets.
• Perform in-depth data analyses to identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design TO‑BE data architectures, governance frameworks, and reporting processes aligned with organisational objectives and analytics standards.
• Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and data-driven business cases to support decision-making and adoption.
• Facilitate workshops and review sessions with stakeholders as an independent expert.
• Provide methodological guidance and knowledge transfer to internal data teams.

Deliverables

• Documented AS‑IS and TO‑BE data process models and architecture diagrams.
• Data process improvement recommendations, including quantified benefits and required changes.
• KPI set for monitoring data quality, completeness, and usage.
• Implementation roadmap with data governance and change management considerations.
• Final summary report detailing findings, decisions, and recommendations.

Required Expertise

• Proven experience in data strategy, data architecture, or data analytics consulting within commercial, CRM, or enterprise environments.
• Advanced skills in data modelling, data quality management, and process optimisation.
• Experience operating independently and effectively in a complex international environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI;
