Role Purpose

As a DevOps Engineer specializing in observability, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing telemetry solutions within a large-scale financial services environment. You enable engineering teams to gain deep insights into system performance, reliability, and operational health through modern observability practices.

You play a key role in building a standardized observability framework using OpenTelemetry, supporting distributed systems across cloud-native platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement observability solutions using OpenTelemetry for metrics, logs, and traces
  • Build and maintain telemetry pipelines across distributed, cloud-based systems
  • Integrate observability tooling within Kubernetes environments and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response
  • Define and enforce observability standards and best practices across teams
  • Optimize system reliability and performance through data-driven insights
  • Contribute to automation and infrastructure as code for scalable platform solutions


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
  • Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability stacks
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring solutions
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
