Core Responsibilities (~80%):
- Develop comprehensive graphic concepts: illustrations, icons, color systems, typography, layouts, text optimization.
- Create and refine icons, illustrations, and components in Illustrator & Figma for the SVG library.
- Continuously modernize and maintain in-house graphics/symbol database for UI consistency.
- Work closely with engineering teams (system, front-end, back-end) and stakeholders (including military experts) to define requirements, dependencies, and approve new UI concepts.
- Contribute to UX testing (mobile & stationary), high-fidelity prototyping (ProtoPie), wireframes/user flows, navigation architectures, and occasional UX research tasks (interviews, usability, norms/standards).
- Degree/diploma in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or related UX field.
- 3+ years hands-on graphic design experience (illustration, icon design, typography, layout).
- Expert in Figma + strong Adobe Illustrator skills; comfortable on macOS and Windows.
- Solid understanding of complex technical UIs / cockpits.
- Experience with advanced no-code high-fidelity prototyping (ProtoPie or equivalent).
- ProtoPie, Premiere Pro, After Effects.
- Hands-on UX testing, interviewing, graphic design workshop facilitation.
- Current UX knowledge in web, mobile, gaming contexts.
- Excellent social and communication skills (customer workshops, cross-team collaboration, small-space testing).
- Highly organized and resilient under tight deadlines and frequent priority changes.
- Proactive, hands-on approach.
- Comfortable managing 10+ projects simultaneously and supporting stakeholders.
- Strong team player in large, technical development environments.
- Fluent German and English (must-have)
