I. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Management: Develop team development plans based on project requirements, reasonably allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Team Building & Development: Manage daily team activities, provide technical guidance, conduct performance evaluations, foster team members' capabilities, and cultivate a positive and progressive technical atmosphere.
  • Technical Oversight & Quality Assurance: Deeply participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture evaluations to ensure software design meets system architecture requirements and quality standards.
  • Cross-Team Communication & Coordination: Act as the key communication interface between the on-site customer team and headquarters R&D, promptly reporting project progress, risks, and requirement changes, and driving issue resolution.
  • On-site Support & Road Test Assurance: Lead or participate in the analysis and resolution of software-related issues encountered during European road tests, supporting successful project deployment overseas.


II. Qualifications & Requirements

  • Work Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in embedded or automotive software development.
  • At least 3+ years of technical team management experience with proven project and personnel management skills.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficient in C++/Java programming languages with strong coding ability and design mindset.
  • Familiar with Android in-vehicle application or framework development and Agile development processes.
  • Deep understanding of automotive IVI systems; experience with Qualcomm platforms is a plus.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent team leadership and project coordination abilities.
  • Strong capability to independently analyze and solve complex technical problems.
  • Fluent English communication skills, capable of working effectively as the working language with multinational teams.
  • Localization Requirements
  • This position is based in Bucharest, Romania. Candidates must be legally residing in Romania or possess a valid work permit.
  • Familiarity with the local culture and work environment is preferred.
  • Experience in the European automotive industry is preferred.
