We're recruiting a Full-stack engineer for our client in Central Stockholm.

The Opportunity

You'll be working with a product-led FinTech company building a highly scalable platform used by banks and financial services providers across the Nordics and Europe, to manage their entire asset portfolio. As a Full-stack Engineer you'll be working in highly skilled team, solving deep technical problems, and play a key role in rebuilding a large-scale platform that powers critical financial workflows, in technologies such as Java, Springboot, Typescript, Angular, Kafka, Postgres and MongoDB.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Build and maintain features across backend and frontend
• Re-architecting the existing platform into a micro-service architecture to improve scalability, performance, and reliability
• Designing and building robust APIs and backend services in Java (Spring Boot)
• Contributing to the evolution of our event-driven architecture, using tools like Apache Kafka

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software development experience, ideally with Java and Angular
• Solid understanding of event-driven systems, distributed architectures, and messaging.
• Strong hands-on experience with AI engineering solutions (claude code, codex or similar)
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Fluent English Speaker, based in or near Stockholm
