Design Lead
Stockholm HQ – Strandvägen
Selahatin is looking for a Design Lead to work closely with the Creative Director in translating ideas and references into refined visual work across the brand.
The role sits at the intersection of editorial craft, visual clarity and brand systems. You will take ideas – sometimes loosely defined – and creative direction and develop them into strong layouts, typographic compositions and scalable formats that can be applied across product, digital platforms and brand communication.
We are looking for someone with strong editorial instincts and a highly developed sense of form, rhythm and typography. Much of the work involves refining and structuring ideas so they become clear, precise and repeatable across different contexts.
Selahatin operates with a defined creative direction. The role of the Design Lead is to interpret, refine and elevate that direction through exceptional craft and visual judgement.
The role also involves shaping and overseeing visual content production — working with photographers and collaborators to translate ideas into strong imagery, often within lean production setups.
The Design Lead will also guide and support the junior designer, helping structure workflows, maintain quality across outputs and ensure that design work is executed consistently across the brand.
A background in editorial design or magazines is highly valued.
