Assignment description

We are now looking for a Project Management (Delivery Projects) - Senior Project Manager.

Description:

Project Management is responsible for;

  • Project execution, contract compliance, customer´s satisfaction/target fulfilment and financial results, for a project, or
  • in a sub-project of a large project for the execution, contract compliance, customer´s satisfaction /target fulfilment and financial results. This typically includes negotiations with suppliers and customer representatives as well as handling deviations/claims.

Senior Project Manager: Lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex customer projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.

Senior Project Manager with the support of project team is responsible for successful execution /delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget with on- quality & safety framework.

- Certified Senior Project Manager or PMP® Certified Senior Project Manager or IPMA Level B/C certification.

- Ability to work with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types.

- Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects (need based).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience;

• Minimum six (6) years’ experience managing projects, ideally managing complex projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with domain experience in business, or

• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.

• Communicate fluent in English language.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple complex delivery projects, including scope, planning, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking performance and adjusting as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and expectation management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, preparing contingency plans and escalating critical concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure high-quality project execution by managing resources efficiently and upholding project quality standards and compliance with company policies and methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Waterfall).
  • Conduct project reviews and post implementation analyses, driving continuous improvement and contributing to the development of project management frameworks.
