We’re partnering with an innovative, global tech company to find a Senior JavaScript Engineer with deep expertise in accessibility to join a high-impact, cross-functional product team.
Our client is a market-leading, cloud-based Work Operating System used by hundreds of thousands of teams worldwide to plan, manage, and execute work more efficiently. Their platform powers everything from project management to complex operational workflows — and they’re now doubling down on building truly inclusive, accessible user experiences at scale.
The Opportunity
This is a chance to take real ownership of accessibility across a sophisticated, data-heavy product. You’ll play a key role in shaping how accessibility is implemented, scaled, and embedded into engineering culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the design and implementation of accessible, high-performance UI components
- Owning accessibility for complex table/grid interfaces, including:
- Screen reader interactions (editing, navigation, pickers)
- Advanced keyboard navigation (filters, search, bulk actions, controls)
- Conducting accessibility audits and driving end-to-end improvements
- Ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product teams to embed accessibility into workflows
- Acting as a subject matter expert, elevating accessibility standards across the product
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Frontend / UI Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with browser accessibility in production environments
- Deep knowledge of:
- Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)
- Keyboard navigation
- ARIA roles & accessibility patterns
- Advanced JavaScript and React expertise
- Experience building complex, data-heavy UI components (tables, dashboards, grids)
- A proactive mindset with the ability to own and drive initiatives independently
Nice to Have
- Experience with accessibility audits and tooling
- Background in large-scale SaaS or product-led environments
- Familiarity with micro frontend architectures
- Experience working closely with UX/design teams on accessibility
