User Experience Design and Content Studio Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and visionary User Experience Design and Content Studio Manager to lead two interconnected disciplines at the heart of our digital products. We operate at a fast pace with a high-frequency seasonal calendar and a deeply e-commerce-native business model — meaning design and content are not supporting functions here, they are core to how we sell, communicate, and grow. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will shape user experiences across our web platforms and mobile applications, build and mentor a high-performing design and content studio team, and drive creative content strategy — all within one of Turkey's most established and beloved home goods and kitchenware brands.
What You'll Do
Experience Design & Leadership You will own the end-to-end user experience across our web and mobile touchpoints. You will conduct thorough experience audits to identify friction points and opportunities, then translate findings into actionable design improvements. Working closely with product managers and engineers, you will ensure design and development are always aligned toward delivering seamless, cohesive experiences.
Content Studio Leadership You will build and lead an in-house content studio that produces high-quality creative output across all digital channels. You will define the studio's ways of working, set production standards, and ensure every piece of content — from a campaign visual to a product page layout — reflects the same level of craft and brand consistency. In a business driven by seasonal peaks and frequent campaign cycles, you will develop systems and templates that allow your team to move fast without sacrificing quality.
Team Management & Mentorship You will lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of UI/UX designers and content creators, providing day-to-day guidance, constructive feedback, and long-term career mentorship. You will establish shared design and content standards, workflows, and review processes that keep both disciplines operating at a consistently high level — even during the most demanding periods of the retail calendar.
Research & Validation You will run user research, usability testing, and in-depth analysis to deeply understand user behavior and needs. You will organize ideation sessions, user interviews, and stakeholder workshops to challenge assumptions, generate ideas, and validate design decisions with real evidence.
Design Execution You will produce and oversee wireframes, low and high-fidelity prototypes, and polished visual designs that clearly communicate product vision. You will maintain a strong eye for detail and consistency across every screen and interaction.
Creative Content Direction You will develop visual and editorial content concepts aligned with our brand identity and business goals. You will provide creative direction for campaign materials, social media visuals, email templates, and digital ad creatives. Given the volume and velocity of our e-commerce operations, you will build scalable creative frameworks that support rapid content production across multiple seasonal campaigns running in parallel. You will define content design standards that ensure our voice and visual language remain consistent across all digital channels, and collaborate closely with marketing teams to produce user-focused, conversion-driven creative work.
AI-Augmented Design & Production You will actively integrate generative AI tools into the design and content production workflow — from ideation and copywriting assistance to image generation, motion content, and rapid prototyping. You will help your team build fluency with these tools and establish responsible, brand-safe practices for their use across the studio.
Continuous Improvement You will regularly review user feedback, performance data, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities and refine both the experience and content output over time. You will stay current with the latest trends in UX design, digital content production, and generative AI, and bring relevant innovations into your team's process.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Communication, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience leading a UI/UX and/or creative content team, with a clear focus on web and mobile applications
- A strong portfolio demonstrating depth across UX design, visual design, motion, and creative content direction
- Proven experience working within or alongside e-commerce operations — understanding conversion funnels, product pages, and the design decisions that drive online sales
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, high-frequency creative output in a fast-paced, seasonal retail environment
- Proficiency in Figma for UX design and prototyping, Adobe Photoshop for visual production, and Adobe After Effects for motion and animation
- Active, hands-on competency with generative AI tools — including AI image generation, AI-assisted copywriting, and AI-powered design and video workflows — is a must, not a nice-to-have
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and JavaScript — enough to communicate fluently with engineering teams
- Proven experience running or building a content studio or creative production function
- Deep understanding of how UX design and content strategy intersect across digital channels
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- The ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team while staying hands-on when needed
- Agency background is a strong plus
