We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on complex, real-world systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical leadership with hands-on development across software, hardware, and robotics environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a distributed team of software engineers
• Shape and maintain scalable, reliable software architecture
• Oversee development across embedded, robotics, and application layers
• Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and testing
• Help identify risks, solve technical challenges, and support system-level debugging
• Contribute to planning and delivery to keep projects on track
• Mentor team members and support their technical growth
• Encourage efficient, practical engineering approaches

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in software development (typically 8+ years)
• Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers
• Background in embedded systems, robotics, or hardware-connected software
• Experience working with complex or distributed systems
• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working across disciplines in an engineering environment
• Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
• Practical, delivery-focused approach to building software
• Exposure to autonomous systems, UAVs, or robotics platforms
• Familiarity with tools/frameworks such as ROS2, ArduPilot, or similar
