About the Role
We are seeking a Card Product Lead to drive the post‑launch growth of Amazon’s co‑brand card in the UAE market. This role will be pivotal in scaling customer acquisition, increasing card spend, and ensuring portfolio profitability while maintaining strong compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Card Acquisition: Design and execute multi‑channel campaigns (digital, offline, partner channels); manage budgets, optimize funnels, and report ROI.
- Product Management: Define roadmap, features, pricing, and rewards; coordinate launches with cross‑functional teams; translate customer insights into product enhancements.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor GDV, balances, utilization, and delinquencies; conduct lifecycle analyses; optimize pricing and rewards for profitability and retention.
- Scaling the Business: Identify new growth levers and partnerships; build go‑to‑market strategies to expand issuance and active spend.
- Risk & Compliance: Implement credit risk, fraud detection, and regulatory controls; ensure adherence to UAE regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: Align internal teams and external partners; provide reporting and enablement to senior leadership.
- Performance Management: Define KPIs, run reviews, and iterate on acquisition and retention tactics.
KPIs & Targets
- Card Acquisition: Monthly new accounts, ramp schedule.
- Cost Efficiency: CPA and cost per funded account.
- Portfolio Growth: GDV and active spend.
- Profitability: Net interest margin, interchange revenue, marketing ROI.
- Customer Metrics: Activation, retention, churn, NPS/CSAT.
- Risk Metrics: Delinquency rates, fraud rates, compliance incidents.
Required Experience & Skills
- Market Knowledge: UAE/GCC payments landscape, consumer credit behavior, regulatory environment.
- Acquisition Expertise: Proven success scaling credit card/consumer finance programs.
- Analytical Ability: Cohort analysis, LTV/CAC modeling, A/B testing, dashboarding.
- Product & Commercial Sense: Experience with card features, rewards, pricing, merchant partnerships.
- Risk & Compliance: Hands‑on with underwriting, fraud controls, regulatory reporting.
- Leadership & Execution: Cross‑functional leadership, project management, stakeholder influence.
- Traits: Results‑oriented, creative, customer‑centric, strong communicator.
