You perform the role of a Human Resources (HR) business partner to the relevant stakeholders in the assigned department(s). You will manage the end-to-end career management functions for Defence Executive Officers (DXOs) in these department(s), and act as a career advisor to them on their career progression and developmental needs.
What You Will Be Working On
- Serve as HR business partner to stakeholders in assigned department(s), providing strategic HR guidance and support
- Manage comprehensive career management functions for DXOs, including career planning, progression pathways, and talent development initiatives
- Provide expert career advisory services to DXOs on their professional development and advancement opportunities
- Review, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to ensure current best practices and compliance
- Implement effective knowledge management systems and processes for the branch
- Perform secretariat duties for designated Committee, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Balancing the departments' interests with that of the larger organisation's objectives whilst maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Managing increasingly complex and multi-dimensional cases in a thoughtful yet professional and timely manner
- Education in Human Resources or a related field
- Prior relevant work experience in human resource or a related field is preferred
- Being conversant with various HR policies and processes is advantageous
- Good problem solving, stakeholder management, communications and analysis skills
- Independent, proactive and able to multi-task
