Job Duties:

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for Day 1 system implementation, covering project initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post go-live stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery timelines to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope and schedule.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including application, infrastructure, integration, security, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
  • Organize and lead project governance meetings, status reviews, steering committee discussions, and stakeholder reporting sessions.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID), while driving mitigation and timely resolution of critical blockers.
  • Oversee testing readiness and execution for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and closure coordination.
  • Lead deployment planning activities including cutover execution, rollback planning, contingency preparation, and production go-live readiness validation.
  • Ensure project compliance with government security policies, regulatory requirements, audit controls, and documentation standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, executive dashboards, progress updates, and escalation summaries to senior management and stakeholders.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in project management for large-scale IT implementation projects.
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects involving multiple teams, systems and interdependent workstreams.
  • Strong experience managing stakeholders across business, technical and government environments, including senior-level engagement.
  • Hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource forecasting and milestone tracking using tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, issue escalation, dependency management and governance reporting.
  • Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, production cutover, deployment readiness and go-live activities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Institute PMP, AXELOS PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.
