The Backend Software Developer, as part of our in-house development team, will collaborate with external staff to design and deliver customized software programs and AI-driven solutions, including our proprietary Adrenaline Management Platform (AMP). AMP is a web-based physical asset management solution that enhances operational efficiency for our clients' retail networks.

This role involves conceptualizing, developing, and implementing system enhancements as well as AI integration, contributing to the evolution of Adrenaline’s technology portfolio. The platforms developed will vary in scope, scale, and complexity, requiring a deep understanding of Adrenaline’s products and services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom web applications and web services in a team environment.
• Develop custom AI integration solutions using Azure AI and Open AI, or other similar platforms.
• Research and prototype solutions using emerging technologies.
• Modify existing software and develop new features to meet client requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects to maintain system reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Experience with AI development is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular, is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Experience with Symfony or Laravel frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented or scripting languages is important.
• Functional knowledge of web development and security principles.
