Responsibilities:

The Technology Investment Banking Group at Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking highly motivated, successful candidates for the Analyst 1 position in New York. The Technology Investment Banking Group offers Analysts an exceptional opportunity to work on small deal teams with direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Analysts are provided significant responsibility within the full transaction execution process, including preparing pitch materials, creating financial analyses, preparing marketing materials, and drafting internal committee memoranda. Analysts are expected to receive exposure across various Technology verticals.

  • Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial information
  • Perform financial analyses and create financial models
  • Coordinate industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
  • Perform industry research to support pitches and new business generation activities using tools such as S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, and PitchBook
  • Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and pitches for clients

Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic track record
  • Relevant internship experience/less than 1 year of related financial services experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and accounting
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in Technology
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0
  • SIE, Series 63 & Series 79 licensing required (or to be obtained upon employment)


Salary: $100,000 - $125,000


  • The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 per year. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
