Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a high-impact product and engineering team operating within a modern, scalable platform environment. This role will play a critical part in driving agile execution, improving team velocity, and ensuring successful delivery of complex initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in agile methodologies, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can effectively partner across engineering, business, and leadership teams to deliver results.

Role Summary

The Scrum Master will be responsible for managing development sprints from planning through execution and review within an agile framework. This individual will facilitate core agile ceremonies, manage the product backlog, and remove obstacles to keep the team aligned and productive.

This role works closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure consistent delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Manage sprint execution and support timely, high-quality releases
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business and technical requirements
• Guide teams in estimation practices and ensure accurate sprint planning
• Protect the team from scope creep and unmanaged work intake
• Identify and remove impediments to maintain team velocity and flow
• Manage project risks, conflicts, and evolving business priorities
• Collaborate with team leads to resolve roadblocks and team challenges
• Conduct post-mortems and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
• Lead initiatives to improve team performance, delivery speed, and quality
• Maintain accurate tracking and reporting within Jira and related tools
• Support release management activities, including planning, communication, and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years in a Scrum Master role
• Strong expertise in agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Deep experience with Jira, including administrative capabilities
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile delivery practices
• Proven ability to lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and estimation sessions
• Experience tracking and improving agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and backlog health
• Ability to balance business and technical priorities effectively
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to operate independently
