Currently, Kurita AquaChemie FZE is looking for a Service Engineer to join us at our partner's site in Duqm, Oman. This job may eventually evolve into a Sales Engineering/Account Management role.


Key responsibilities:


  • The complete responsibility of the site management in terms of working with boiler’s cooling tower systems in refinery process units.
  • Preparing and sending weekly/monthly site report with recommendations.
  • Coordinating in the chemical supply related activities at customer site.
  • Technical support, trouble shooting and action reports.
  • Inventory Management at site and local warehouse.
  • Ensuring integrity of equipment supplied to site as part of contract management.
  • Developing strong customer and inter-department relationships.
  • Contribute to site enhancement in aspect of EHSS.


Job requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in chemical engineering/process engineering or comparable.
  • 2- 5 years of experience in industrial water treatment, mainly in cooling tower boiler RO & wastewater in refinery and petrochemicals plant.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Strong communication skills and sales and service attitude.
