Currently, we are scaling a critical nationwide project in Ukraine. We are looking for a powerhouse developer based in Ukraine who understands the local landscape and wants to build resilient, transparent digital infrastructure for the country.

• The Backbone: Architect and maintain high-performance backend services using Java (Quarkus).
• The Connectivity: Design robust APIs and integrations that bridge the gap between travelers, hosts, and local governments.
• The Pipeline: Own the "how it runs" by working with modern DevOps tools to streamline deployments.
• The Full Picture: Collaborate across frontend and product teams to ship features that work seamlessly from UI to DB.

The Core:

• Java Expert: You’ve spent years mastering Java.
• Quarkus Lover: Experience with Quarkus is a massive win. If you’re a Spring Boot veteran, we know you’ll adapt quickly.
• Architectural Mindset: Deep knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
• AI Power User: You are proficient in Cursor and/or Claude Code. You know how to prompt, iterate, and ship 3x faster than a traditional dev.

The "Ops" in DevOps: We don’t just "write" code; we ship it. You should be comfortable with:

• Kubernetes (K8s)
• Jenkins
• ArgoCD & Helm

The Extras (Nice to Have):

• React.js: If you can jump into the frontend to polish the user experience, you’re our unicorn.
• GovTech Experience: If you’ve worked on digital transformation projects in Ukraine (Diia, etc.), you’ll feel right at home.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience scaling in cloud environments.

The Gross salary range for this position starts from 2300 EUR and is up to 3300 EUR per month (negotiable, based on competencies)
