Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing test cases to validate SD-WAN features and functionalities.
- Support the automation of test scripts using Python to improve testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and testing needs.
- Participate in troubleshooting and debugging issues found during testing.
- Learn and apply networking concepts related to routing, forwarding, and security in the context of SD-WAN.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks.
- Maintain documentation of test cases, results, and defects.
- Engage in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of networking principles, including routing and forwarding concepts.
- Fundamental knowledge of core network security principles.
- Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation or programming tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic technology environment.
- Internship or project experience related to networking or software testing.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Exposure to automation frameworks or tools is a plus.
- Interest in Cisco SD-WAN technologies and enterprise networking solutions.
