About Position:

This position involves developing and integrating lowlevel embedded software with a strong focus on Linux kernel, device tree configuration, and driver development. The role requires handson experience working with opensource components and testing them within custom hardware platforms. Expertise in Broadcom SDK development is essential, while familiarity with Marvell CPSS SDK is an added advantage. The candidate must have a solid understanding of hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, QSPI, PCIe, and SerDes. Additional responsibilities may include reviewing hardware schematics and contributing to networking features such as Layer2 switching, VLANs, QoS, and metering, along with knowledge of L2 protocols including BPDU and LLDP.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Linux kernel modules, device tree configurations, and boardlevel drivers for embedded platforms.
• Integrate and validate opensource components, ensuring compatibility, stability, and optimal system performance.
• Work extensively with Broadcom SDKs to enable and enhance switching, networking, and hardwarespecific functionalities.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support bringup activities, feature implementation, and debugging on custom hardware.
• Analyze and optimize hardware interfaces including I2C, SPI, QSPI, PCIe, and SerDes for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, provide design feedback, and collaborate on technical documentation.
• Optionally contribute to hardware schematic reviews and the development of L2 networking features such as VLAN, QoS, metering, and protocol handling (BPDU, LLDP).

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux kernel development, device tree configuration, and driver implementation.
• Proven background in integrating open-source components and performing system-level testing.
• Solid expertise in Broadcom SDK development for networking and switching applications.
• Preferred- Familiarity with Marvell CPSS SDK and its integration workflows.
• Deep understanding of hardware communication protocols: I2C, SPI, QSPI, PCIe, and SerDes.
• Ability to analyze and work with hardware schematics and understand boardlevel design considerations (nice to have).
• Good grasp of L2 networking conceptsincluding switching, VLAN, QoS, and metering—and basic knowledge of L2 protocols such as BPDU and LLDP.
• Strong problemsolving skills, debugging expertise, and ability to work in fastpaced embedded development environments.
