Project Manager

• Location: Western Sydney, NSW (Hybrid Working Arrangement)
• Contract length: 6-Months (with potential for extension)

• Daily Rate: Up to $525 + Super per day

Exciting day-rate contracting opportunity for a Project Manager to work with a local government authority based in Western Sydney, dedicated to delivering impactful solutions that enhance community and operational capabilities. Robust portfolio includes a variety of projects, from internal system upgrades to community-centred programs which all contribute to the organisations 4-year technology roadmap.

Your New Role

This role involves managing a variety of projects, there will be flexibility across a range of projects which could include major system upgrades, internal HR system uplifts, GIS Mapping System projects and the implementation of new technologies. You will oversee project milestones, report on progress, and support smaller projects alongside subject matter experts and analysts.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Experience: 3-5 years in project management.
• Skills: Proactive decision-making, strong stakeholder engagement, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility: Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week as needed.
